For me yoga has been a crucial part of my life ever since I took my first class 15 years ago. Yoga keeps my muscles and connective tissue stretched out and strengthened, increasing my performance while decreasing the occurrence of injury during all the other workouts I do (running, weights, barre, boot camp). Yoga keeps me calm, even during the not so calm parts of life. Yoga gives me my sense of community of like minded people. Yoga has given me so many gifts, when I decided to teach 2 years ago, I wanted to share these gifts with others. I am blessed that it has been so well received over the past 2 years, and I am able to continue to offer so many yoga classes. I hope you will join me soon!

Vinyasa is is an athletic and dynamic practice that blends movement, heat, and mindfulness. In this class, you'll engage in a series of creative and flowing sequences designed to get you sweating, enhance strength, and cultivate a deep mind-body connection through breath. Movement is synchronized with the breath, creating a powerful moving meditation that creates strength and endurance in the body and mind.
Whether you're looking to build strength, improve flexibility, or simply enjoy a challenging and flowing practice, Vinyasa welcomes you to sweat, strengthen, and stretch.

Core & Restore- This class combines 30 minutes of intense inner core workouts with 30 minutes of restorative yoga, creating a perfect balance of strength and relaxation. The inner core is made up of specific muscles - the multifidus, transverse abdominis, pelvic floor, and diaphragm. It's essential to understand that the abs and core are distinct muscle groups, unlike what many fitness classes may suggest. In a recent study conducted in 2021, a shocking 86% of Americans were found to have weak inner core muscles. This weakness can lead to issues like low back pain, urinary incontinence, and even erectile dysfunction. Strengthening the inner core is vital for providing stability to the entire body, improving balance, posture, and reducing the risk of injuries, especially in the lower back. A strong inner core also enhances the transfer of power between the upper and lower body during physical activities, boosting overall physical well-being and performance. After the intense core workout, we transition into 30 minutes of restorative yoga to stretch and reset. Restorative Yoga is a practice of deep relaxation and rejuvenation, creating a sanctuary for the body, mind, and spirit. Participants will enjoy a series of restorative poses supported by props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks, allowing the body to release tension and promoting a sense of ease. Join me:

Join me for a fun and flowy outdoor Vinyasa yoga class at the beautiful James River Cellars Winery. Suitable for all levels, modifications are offered to ensure everyone can participate in the class. Don't forget to bring your own mat, a bottle of water and your positive vibe. After class, relax with a glass of wine (included in ticket cost) and socialize with your community.

$10 POP UP CLASS! YIN YOGA at 11AM on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at Burn Boot Camp- Atlee- STARTING IN SEPTEMBER. Yin Yoga is an incredibly powerful and transformative practice that focuses on deep stretching, relaxation, and mindfulness. By holding poses for an extended period of time (typically 3-5 minutes), practitioners are able to target the deep connective tissues in the body, such as the fascia, ligaments, and joints. This allows for increased flexibility, improved circulation, and a profound release of tension both physically and mentally.
